Age: 24
Gender: Ladyfolk
General Appearance: Saffron often wears the fine silk clothes one would expect of a young noble lady (think Margaery Tyrell type dresses.) When hunting or hawking, though, she’ll wear more practical (but still fine) clothing. Though she likes to look good, she’s also not afraid to get dirty or unkempt.
Ascarya: She can create illusions. These illusions appear 100% convincing visually, but they have no weight or mass to them, and so can be revealed as illusions simply by trying to touch them.
Family: She’s the heir to House Wilwyn, daughter of Lady Wilwyn and (supposedly) Lord Wilwyn. However, as a young teen she discovered that this may not be the case, and her true father is Fenec Lefevre.

Personality: Saffron has grown up having to lie all her life to keep her ascari nature a secret. Being a lifelong liar has given her a talent for politicking, fueling her ambition. Her secret nature also makes her feel gifted and special, as though she was meant for bigger things than to simply be the lady of a minor noble house.
Motivations: Ambition. She wants to do great things.
Fear(s): She’s not afraid of much. As a child she was afraid of her ascarya being discovered, but over the years that fear has faded.
History: The Lord and Lady Wilwyn were married at the behest of their families, and though they were never cruel to each other, they never truly made each other happy. Even worse, they struggled to conceive a child. Then, after years of a loveless and childless marriage, Saffron was finally born.
Saffron was raised as a traditional noble girl would be. She was educated and privileged. When she was a child, she discovered her ascarya. Initially she was terrified and ashamed, as she, like all children, had been taught how the ascari were little more than beasts in human form. She never told a soul. Over time the shame faded, and she began to see her ascarya as more of a gift than a curse. After all, she knew she wasn’t a beast like those other ascari. She was special.
One day, while rummaging through her parents’ things, she came across a letter between her mother and a family friend, Fenec. The letter implied that Lady Wilwyn and Ser Fenec were far more than just friends, and that Fenec may very well be Saffron’s true father.
Saffron was used to keeping dark secrets by now, and this was no different. She tucked the letter back away and never told a soul. Though she loved the parents who had raised her, she was also intrigued. Fenec was a powerful man, and the Empress’s right hand. Perhaps she could learn from him, and become powerful in her own right.
